The speed at which this order came through is a pleasant surprise for me given the excruciating delays and subsequent in ability to get a single order for the garbage truck brake (which I thought was a no-brainer for anyone operating garbage trucks); and the fact that its official launched is not until June. It also surprises me when I look back at the inability to close a deal with Linfox given the extended trials and negotiations. Must admit that I've also been somewhat sceptical of the polymer brake idea; despite its weight and cost based advantages. But then again maybe I've just not fully appreciated the significance of the polymer brake initiative and that this may well turn out to be the product that allows ABV to attain substantive commercial traction? Lets hope that over time more orders will eventuate bringing closure on any questions over their ability to grow the business.
