I can state with confidence that the problem is A: releasing the app before it was ready

And B: publicly promoting the premature release of an app

Soft launch of an app is normal to have bugs, of course, but C: not this many bugs

And D: not this many people exposed to those bugs.

Soft launches of an app should NOT be done by a publicly listed exchange after massive promotion.

With an incomplete app at an early stage of development, you want AS FEW PEOPLE TO SEE IT AND DOWNLOAD IT AS POSSIBLE!

First impressions last.

Soft launch should have been done within a closed group of a few hundred people, and with confidentiality clauses in place.

I'm a seed investor in aanother app that is looking to RTO in a few months - AFTER soft launch feedback has ironed out all the issues.

I would be so pissed if I saw management of that app promoting it in newspapers etc at this stage while it isn't working efficiently.
