Actually it has a clean UI and the UX sign up is good. I look at FB and think that their UI is getting old and their UX is starting to get ugly.
Channels are easy to select as are contacts. Messaging is clean UI and a simple UX.
It is a professional clean look and woudl easily be able to be re-branded into a corp look and feel.
Some of the initial problems with permissions etc I have hit with Azure and 365 as well, they are annoying but ultimately onc fixed they don't come back.
