Just a matter of perspective, you see sinking ship, I see opportunity.
I took the opportunity to buy more today.
I'm not concerned about todays gold results, gold is just a side asset (still a very nice one at 1.5 Moz).
The Gold is nice to have but essential for project? No. This is a large scale Nickel project.
I'm bullish on Nickel long term and its role in the battery / EV thematic. Action speaks louder than words, look at what the big fish are doing, they are buying Nickel assets and investing 'whatever it takes' - Andrew Forrest .
I think Aston have their ducks lined up for a very attractive project to take advantage of this global transition. Now that mangement have finalised legacy projects from previous management and have cash, let them show the market how its done.
