The dies on the wafer are not likely to be able to play complex music in the test bed. They will probably not be set up to play anything more than tones and exercise the pixels systematically to assess the fidelity across the frequency range. It is probably not their aim at this stage. They know that it can play music if it can play tones. That was why they were going to build demo devices that can play music.
