Could I talk automobiles for a minute.... I was reading about the latest RANGE ROVER SPORT last week and it has 24 speakers.... If we convert that to AKP ... I was supposing that the equivalent would be approx. 16 AKP chips per speaker ... that equates to 16 x 24 chips = 384 AKP chips per vehicle. I believe Fred has said in the past that they were aiming at $1 clear profit per chip. Does anyone else recall that?
In 2019, there were 100,000 Range Rover sports sold worldwide. IF AKP chips were in the cars that would be $384 x 100,000 = $38,400,000.00 per annum clear profit to AKP on one vehicle model.
These are great numbers. Am I missing something??? I presume my assumptions are wrong. In 2020, there were 500,000 Tesla's sold and 1.13 million Toyota Corollas.
