I believe the problem is not signing up the users but being able to cope with the amount. This is not just software installed on the phone via wangle app but also hardware installed on servers.
The Wangle technology will be housed in Equinix data centres to ensure uninterrupted
delivery to end users through its global network, which will enhance Wangle’s last-mile
optimisation technology. This will ultimately improve the back-end of the Wangle
technology and enable quality, security and access to content through peering
networks while ensuring maximum uptime and efficient delivery of the Wangle services.
The Wangle architecture will be deployed on servers within Equinix data centre and has
been custom built with the latest in hardware technology in order to deliver a seamless service to customers. Importantly, Wangle can quickly and cost efficiently scale services
as its user base grows, thus allowing for lower total cost of ownership.
While taking slightly longer than expected, testing of Wangle on the new network has
delivered better than expected results, further enhancing the service. The platform will
initially be rolled out to 12,000 paying subscribers, as part of Phase One. The migration to
a global server from the current test platform in a local environment represents the next
step in the global deployment of the Wangle Application.
That is why subscribers might be limited. A lot better to steadily increase paying customers than to bite off more than they can chew, IMO.
Eagerly awaiting the news flow and over time things could dramatically change, especially when we get closer to their "enterprise" growth stage![]()
