Mounting onto boards and delivery to early adopters will happen this month with announcements about that in the next few weeks.
Delivery of the chip will allow potential IP customers to finalise and prove up their designs - something not possible with the FPGA/ADE alone

We'd all like this to be going faster but we've got to remember that this is a toally new technology that "major household names" are likely to be cautious about taking a punt on. They want proof that they are not wasting their time and resources on a dud. That always takes time but we now have the actual NSoC to provide that proof. I'm encouraged by the fact that we have around 2 dozen early adopters who are willing to pay the price of admission..............

Agreed with the most that you have mentioned except -

I don't remember hearing that there will be announcements for this....if someone could correct me either way. I thought he just said they will be delivered to EAP's
