Agree that there's 'no suggestion trading conditions have massively deteriorated'.
According to slide 10 Operating result up 10% in FY23 and 5% FY24 1H. My take on this is that FY24 2H will have to match FY24 1H to achieve same operating result as FY23. Given the favourable conditions prevailing in 1H may not be repeated, this will be challenging:
Market reaction so far today has been muted. Presentations are being delivered tomorrow and on 29th so we may have to wait for any broker updates or reaction from institutional investors. Interesting to note that Schroders increased their holding by 41% shoirtly after the FY24 1H result.
