    Man, that polatechnics offer looks good in comparison to where we are now.

    Such nonsense. PLT are in a trading halt for the last few weeks. How would a merge have changed anything for either company. PLT would have still been in trouble and would have creamed off FER capital even sooner leaving neither company with any money. As it seems to be now, both are still seperate companies and both short of money.
