Hi guys,
Reflecting on recent history, and going over the power struggle with Cam Smith and the old guard, I believe new Board and Management, two senior ex Telstra executives believed they had the experience to handle Telstra and the webphone rollout negotiated in an appropriate time frame.
I also believe they thought managed wi-fi was the direction PIE should head.
Unfortunately with regards to TLS, this has not been the case. Imo for srategic reasons Telstra have dragged the chain, resulting in shareholders losing confidence and the subsequent fall in PIE's sp.
As shareholders, we took a gamble, as did Craig Turner. Realising the Telstra deal was important as validation for the Webphone and PIE's managed Wi-Fi service...... I wasn't aware how much actually hinged on the TLS deal.
I hoped PIE's managed Wi-Fi and JV with Ruckuss could continue without the official TLS deal.
Obviously there is much I/we are not privey too.
However this pans out, I hope shareholders are not too burnt with the outcome.
Cheers and GL,
P.
