Elders was a very strong business in the 70s and 80s,with the majority market share in many areas.

I started with them in the 90s.The branch manager(in my town) had just become the opposition a few weeks earlier.

A new manager transferred, but only lasted 2 weeks and became the opposition of where he had just come from.

6 months later, the senior sales rep joined the opposition.

There is little influx of young people into the industry, therefore (aquiring)experienced people from opposition companies is commonplace.

In many instances where this happens in the same town, significant amounts of business are lost.

I have not worked for this company for 9 years.

A few years ago a significant number of highly experienced cattle men, transfered to another company from Elders in WA.

Very little was heard about it.

Elders has been losing staff and market share for over 2 decades to opposing companies.

I am saddened by Elders demise.

    All the best.
