Status of PAT-SM6 has not changed. Not good. No details of any alternative solution whatsoever. I think they are at a deadend on how to fix the manufacturing.
If there was good news(financial from China) they would have released it, and it would have been a week or two ago, when it was actually signed.
I think the milestone payment is under a million and its a long way till the next one. The prospect of the chinese commercializing PAT-SC1 is as good as anybody else getting it done and it will take several years. The next milestone will possibly be approval for sale. That is I believe a way off.
The chinese are not dumb but also not brilliant. The only advantage the chinese have is less stringent safety standards. They could probably put together a clinical trial of 500 people in 3 months ! Not volunteers, patients just get told !
But I reckon it is still at the very least a year away and probably 2 or 3.
