I recall during the GFC and the subprime disaster many accounting firms were found to be lacking in any skills whatsoever. Everyone has forgotten the the big names in that long list of incompetents.

I'm.just about to be sending emails to about 2 accounting groups to ask how they conduct their audits for 2 large Trustee Companies and what they looking for and where they look and who provides the information and I'll be interested to know if they answer and how they answer.

If they don't answer I'll make my emails public. So watch this space.
