I agree but never underestimate the ability of Standards Australia to think they know better than the world.
Child car seats is a classic example. Why on earth we never adopted the European Isofix standard beats me.
Having said that, I think there is a risk of Li-Ion batteries in warmer parts of Australia that needs to be addressed.
