I read the article. It's hard to make a call because they are a private company so we don't know their revenues. I will say this is a scale game and first mover advantage is very important so I understand the logic. If we can stay ahead of the curve including buying competitors for growth this will imo hold us in good stead for an explosive future. If Bevans negotiating the deal I'm feeling pretty comfortable. They have raised 40 million in a bunch of finance rounds, it would be interesting to see their numbers, growth and network overlay in comparison to Megaport. There may not be a raise for capital but a raise for acquisition in the next month or so. I would rather own 5% of $1000 as opposed to 10% of $100. Just some of my early thoughts and will be doing more research.
