Firstly, the 'not held' disclosure is there because you can still discuss a stock you don't hold. I am the same, but I have previously held. There is NO reason you cant discuss what you don't hold, or have no intention of holding.
Next, what is the point of discussing a stock that you hold if you only want others blowing wind up your skirt. There's no point holding and sitting in an ignorant world of people just dancing around the pansies holding hands singing nursery rhymes.
Lastly, my opinion is that your response is a good indicator of why you are still holding (both the stock & hope). You just want confirmation bias & arent willing to listen to the 'message' that has clearly been coming out of this company since a certain individual (who I would love to describe without getting in trouble) went AWOL.
None of this is about whether this is a good stock or not ultimately, but you really need to be able to critically evaluate your investment decisions.
