I’ve now read the comment thanks for the direction GTFC... As you say Grizzly ‘1 guy who has been sacked making a comment’ is no big deal as this happens all the times for various not directed related to the company. But according to the post it was the entire marketing department and not performance related.

I think this is the sort of thing that we are not going to be able to prove of disprove, personally is an untrue comment of that nature was made on my LinkedIn, I would post a retort (but again a retort/absence is not proof)....

If true and as per the comment there was no explanation other than ‘the board says so’ even ignoring the moralities of at least providing an explanation and reference, personally I would see the sudden sacking of an entire department as a possible sign of desperation or serious cost blow out....
