Anyone care to comment on why ANS is wasting time, money, and effort with the Cameroon gov't, who clearly aren't interested in granting permits, rather than developing the mid west?
Back in 2011:
"A two-stage development of a mine, railway and port for the cross-border iron ore deposits in Cameroon and Congo is estimated to cost US$7.7 billion. "

Getting a project going here is Australia has to be easier compared to some potentially corrupt African ****hole of a country.
The failed Bleyer Oakajee attempt was going to cost less than this ( ~ AUD$6 billion).
The ore in Mbalam is only hematite, not magnetite.
"Changes in China’s steelmaking industry have prompted new interest in developing magnetite mines in the Mid West and an industrial site at Oakajee."

What am I missing here?
