Rail is a very good sector on which EGN can focus. In its niche (bulk point-to-point freaight), rail is hard to beat, because its tonne/kilometre marginal cost to move goods is so low, and so suited to automation. Bill Gates is the largest shareholder of Canadian National Railway Company (TSX: CNR)(NYSE: CNI), with a 13% holding. Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway invested tens of billions of US dollars to wholly own Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC (BNSF) – the largest freight railroad network in North America.

Investors should learn the communicating style of a stock's management – many communicate a rosy picture, and deliver less, some do the opposite. I think EGN's management are at the latter end of the communication-style spectrum.
