Hi VYR, and Happy New Year. I fear that "keeping it small and really profitable" is a good way to have the Company disappear up its own backside. The profit performance was good but certainly not stellar (ie it only met expectations). If we are honest and objective the growth performance is lousy, with far too much emphasis on a multiplicity of new models rather than sweating the assets and going for strong profitable growth on a few key products.

30,000 units may sound grand, but set against a market potential of ~ 50,000,000 units (including ice models) it is statistically insignificant. The financials look fine, but investors want to see real growth and need to see cash put to good use rather than being accumulated in the bank. If not, then as it is shareholders' cash at least declare a small dividentd.

I think you need a wider horizon going into 2022, so maybe try some South African Shiraz .... there's a wide, wide world of opportunity out there and VMT needs to wake up !

I'm still in for the long haul, and still believe that VMT will inevitably succeed in giving a decent return due to being pulled along by EV market forces rather than Management vision, but it could be so much better. 2000.
