You've gone from giving an opinion to being a realist. Everyone has an opinion, that's the beauty of living in a society which allows freedom of thought and ideas to be expressed. Being a realist in this instance only relates to the past thus far; there is no way you can be 100% certain we haven't seen the worst so far, you can only make a calculated judgement,of which you have indicated is partly based on a chart incorporating the period of World War 2. That calculated judgement is still your opinion, reality is yet to occur.
IMO, the market could go either way,time will tell. If it falls, more than likely VMT will fall with it.
