With the government investing more than $1B through JobTrainer towards cheap short courses in industries looking to expand in the post-COVID economy, then those private colleges like ALG/Ikon offering vocational training are going to have access to significantly more cash and student demand (higher quality teachers as well?). The course offerings of UCW are right in the sweet spot - counselling, Aged care, community workers, mental health. Even the National Skills Commission have indicated these are highest priorities !
