Wanted to understand everyone's expectations and understanding of this announcement, then the implications for the first half announcement in Feb 2021.
The update was that there is $11.0 Million in unaudited performance fees crystalised, attributable to PNI. This will be reported against the following line in cashflow (if someone could clarify):
From the financial highlights and investor presentation released 06/02/2020:
This means the first half number here in terms of dividends and distributions (received not paid) could be in the order of $33 Million, or double last years figure.
This is a pretty good number. Does anyone have a better understanding of the detail?
It could mean that someone bought in a bit before the announcement and explain why there was a 9% jump in share price prior to New Year.
