When I had more funds last July, I considered HUO v TGR, and chose the latter. It has yet to release its half year results, but at least it's not been adversely affected by a fire in one of its Tasmanian salmon pens, and unlike HUO, has diversified into prawns.
Notably HUO doesn't give a figure or range as to estimated net profit, but we know it'll be 'substantially' down.
On the TGR thread, contributor McQuade says the international salmon price has increased a bit in the last couple of months, so Boards ought stop blaming this as you suggest.
