Last year in July, I looked at purchasing some HUO or TGR, and chose the latter given its consistent track record of pleasing, or at worst not overly disappointing, holders. Good luck if there's a takeover bid for HUO but it lacks prawns into which TGR is gradually expanding (despite the irrational State Premiers, bar Gladys B in NSW, doing their best to discourage investment and restaurants/cafes/catering with unjustified, ineffective border closures, lockdowns and in Melbourne's case last year, even a curfew.

Tassal has outperformed Huon and has a more diversified asset base (prawns). They are a country mile ahead of Huon in terms of product recognition and marketing.

Huon predominately sell into the wholesale market, Tassal has focused more on retail (creating the brand and positioning the brand in consumer minds), good management.
