What a great year PNI has had. Aggregate performance fees of $85.9m vs $25.8m in FY'20
Just imagine the share of profits earned by each of the principals in the seven PNI affiliates that crystallized those performance fees.
The business model Ian Macoun has developed is simple yet highly effective. It allows fund managers with deep expertise in selected areas to concentrate on the all important facet of investment management whilst letting Macoun and his PNI team deliver distribution and back office capability.
What excites me as an investor is the future when more of the newer affiliates start to earn performance fees. This will turbo charge the PNI earnings and hopefullt the SP.
