Hi again VYR. For whatever reason you are stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the 'elephant in the room'. This is the fact that over the next decade or so, maybe sooner and probably with a very steep curve, the ponds will become just one pond as all new motorcycles become electric. So what pond will VMT be a big fish in then ? This is going to happen, both through market forces and regulation, so denial is not an option. Btw, Hero (the huge Indian manufacturer) just put in 1st-half growth numbers similar to Honda, with sales well over 2 million units.
It may be that if the Company cannot achieve critical mass then the best option would be a take-over, and presumably VMT Management with its large stake would not sell-out cheaply. This would give the advantage to shareholders of being able to sell through a Corporate Action at a given price, whereas if larger shareholders were to try to sell on the market their action would simply result in a plunging SP. The problem again, however, is that no major player is likely to be interested in a mere 30,000 units pa, and most would not want to invest in manufacturing plant in China right now either.
I don't want to be knocking VMT, especially with my strong investment commitment, but we/they do need to get real about where the Company is and where it needs to be going. And time is of the essence. Cheers. 2000.
