I think there is much truth in that and Ive been guilty of it too. Good to remind oneself that what you're investing in is not FB but YC and DL's vision . FB is really just the very rich guy funding it all. And the AFR really doesn't like him.

I went back and re-read the 2018 article about Yuval-yes he really is a very gifted sound scientist and creator. Always good to bear in mind that large advances - especially in the field of sound (re) production have frequently been made by oft-ridiculed mavericks, working on a shoestring budget in some shed somewhere. It's never a slick corporate committee.
Its that aspect that always brings me back-to a level Im comfortable with financially.
