That's quite hilarious you calling the farm an "inefficient asset"! . That statement says a lot in so many ways.
The most inefficient asset is the board, well they are inefficient but not much of a asset! And most would be happy to see the lot go and replaced with a totally unrelated directors to any or past directors is the best way forward.
