Continuing with simplistic comparisons, an investor may ask themselves "What would I rather?"
- a stable but reducing real capital value investment with a PE of 20? Or
- a more volatile but potentially growing investment with a PE of 30?
There are no right or wrong answers, each has it's place. Not to mention that the world can change suddenly changing the above assumptions.
