In general I’d say new CEO’s like to get the bad news out early in their tenure. The cynic would say to set their stock option strikes lower. and make it easier to subsequently outperform.
i hope (and still think) csl better than that.
reality is csl just confirmed fy23 at top of range. Fy24 hasn’t started. So was only their conservative budget.
