Extending the season means smoothing the flow of wet product into the head house (which is already built and GMP certified).
Instead of one large avalanche of wet product at Croptober time, and hitting the head house with tons of wet product. A smoother feed into the head house means a greater focus on quality.
I'm sure they have done the numbers.
