That's a pretty misinformed post.
Conditions in Tassie are great for low THC (e.g. CBD oil) but not for high THC which needs the heat. The strategy of pulling out of Tassie was the company realising that there is far more margin in high THC. I for one was very happy to see them finally sell the loss-making Tassie business.
They still grow outdoors in fields using autos and in protected coverings (tunnels) using photos. They are also the lowest cost producer in Aus last time I checked being able to produce for ~20c per gram. That's five times lower than actual indoor cultivators e.g. the ones the don't grow in soil like ECS does and control their climate 100% and therefore miss out on all of the terpenes.
