You can really see now how the choices made years ago by Aus cultivators is playing out to the benefit/detriment of shareholders.

On one hand we have ECS who didn't use large amounts of financing (zero to date) and made the smart decision to use Mother Nature as much as possible to create premium, low cost products that are in high demand. They are cash flow positive, have economies of scale working in their favour (revenue outpacing costs) and haven't done a cap raise since 2021. They may potentially post their first profit this year.

On the other hand we have CAN who chose to build a stadium sized indoor facility, used truckloads of financing and now have a debt pile larger than their market cap that they are struggling to pay off, have realised zero economies of scale due to the high costs running a facility that size and are constantly doing large cap raises.
