Without me knowing to much about the area and others mines, is there a possibility that the Marmota gold prospect could be bought by the Challenger Gold mine as an example.
Something like this maybe could make sense if the gold price moves strongly ahead of current levels. Look at the rationale of the Newmont acquisition of the Northern Star. Newmont this the gold price will be well north of current rice levels in future years.
Inflation will be with the world economy for some years to come. We have shifted from a low inflation / deflationary environment to a much higher rates and uncertain geopolitical period. The central banks are buying gold by the tonnes because it is the only asset that does not have a 'counter party risk'. It is accepted for trade transactions where countries may not have access to reserve currencies like the USD, JPY GBP, EUR.
