If we truly are in a deflationary environment, then I would not want to own a leveraged play that is consumer facing, such as a bank!
Deflation is an economy killer and if the Fed believed we are entering period of global deflation with American unemployment where it is then QE infinity remains just that, money printing until a recovery takes place!
RDM is just caught in the fat tail of this 'risk on, risk off' mentality. Someone needs to liquidate for whatever reason, usually nothing to do with the fundamentals. Been low vol move down too.
