This base metals focus is a complete waste of time IMHO. The area is dotted with small historic workings that never really produced much and certainly nothing that would be commercially sizable by today's standards.
My feel is the Uranium isn't panning out at Marree and they were scratching around for something else to boost the project's viability - trying to keep the Koreans interested, who knows? Last year of the JV so I guess CXU are spending the Koreans money while they can!
Beautiful part of the world though and some great yabbie dams round there!
Yanrey is the company's best asset and will see the vast majority of their exploration dollars when the Korean JV expires shortly and they pull out. The EMX ground adds a lot of new paleochannels to target so fingers crossed that comes off
