Hi there,
Always hard to predict short term reactions. But I don't think it was irrational for the following reasons:

1. The market was expecting the hospital announcement(s). They were already told they would come from within the 'top ten' hospitals. No real surprises.

2. The big dump from Uniquest recently has changed the market psychology from having a 'this is never going to stop or drop' attitude to readjust to one that is cautiously optimistic. This will change overtime to unbridled euphoria, but my experience tells me that usually share prices recover slower than they fall.

3. There are lots of small announcements due in the near future. Results of the Australian adult trials will be bigger than the hospital announcements, The US trial results will be an even bigger catalyst (US media coverage etc).

4. We have only just started to change momentum. Some would call the bounce off 24 cents a reversal, but for many others like myself, closing above 33 cents was confirmation that we have exited the 28-32 sideways movement.

5. US funds have yet to start buying up big. Traders will be waiting to pounce when the big volume comes. That will come soon, I am certain, and it will be very very noticeable. The FOMO (Fear of missing out) will set in once we break through the forties, greed will overcome most, and every man and his dog will have forgotten how easy it is to get burnt.

6. Personally, a few +% a day is good for everybody's sanity. We don't want to see greed and euphoria see this over shoot to 90cents in the next few months and then have weeks of whinging on HC when it is 'only' 60cents again. Slow and steady.... However, multiple funds getting in at the same time should hopefully iron out the volatility.

There you have it. My opinions only. In the meantime, I am hoping that Brian comes back from Melbourne with an award from Steve Wozniak!
