    Hi @salpetie
Yep absolutely, airborne survey flight line extents often extend beyond tenement boundaries due to the turnaround requirement, particularly for fixed wing surveys….typically only requires the relevant notifications to landholders and neighboring holders etc as part of the survey. The surveys themselves are managed under CASA.
I also believe in WA that airborne data acquisition over other’s ground is also possible and is relatively common. TBH I don’t know if underlying tenement holders can reasonably object…or what valid objection grounds would be…..I’m guessing that “we just don’t want them to” would not be a valid reason. In WA, companies now (post ~2017) have the opportunity to register airborne surveys with MAGIX under the Airborne Survey Reporting Policy, otherwise its supplied as per statutory exploration reporting under the Mining Act. The benefit of registering with MAGIX is that there the 5-year confidentiality period (same as under the Act) but also the optionality to convert it to ‘multi-client’ with additional 5-year term before its freely available.

At Mangaroon, DRE have as you say got most of the ground covered in some form or another. Surveys:

    FQM – April 2021 (fixed wing Mag-Rad)
Covered the interpreted extent of the money intrusion. 50m line spacing, 35m sensor height. E-W line orientation, better suited for the intrusion relative to regional stratigraphy.

    DRE 2021 – November 2021 (fixed wing Mag-Rads)
Two large areas, including Yin/C1-5. Provided the initial Th-anomalies that they have been targeting. 50m line spacing and 30m sensor height.

DRE - March 2023 (fixed wing Mag-Rads)Infilled between 2021 survey areas and extended coverage including the gold areas (Star of Mangaroon etc). 100m line spacing and 30m sensor height.

DRE – June 2023 (Airborne Gravity Gradiometry)
100m line spacing Falcon gravity survey over Yin,C1-5, and C6

As you can see from the survey outlines, they do extend out beyond DRE tenure in areas, some of which is just to ensure coverage on held ground and others are to gain some additional context. I believe the DRE surveys are multi-client so other companies can obtain data at cost. the FQM survey is not, and will only be available when confidentiality lapses.

The image underneath the survey outlines is the regional plan view of the Money intrusion that DRE used in the announcement from the first RC drilling program:

I suspect the intrusion thickness is relatively narrow, at least based on surface expression and the publicly available magnetics but clearly has some pinch-swell. Typically in the 80 to 150m range, and occasionally +200m.

Evidence of additional drilling, as others say....may be good news. Just for balance though...an alternative interp on the additional holes is that they have drilled the step-out hole and second conductor and they are dusters, so drilled a couple more along strike to confirm and use as DHEM platforms to check for off-hole conductors and additional targets to soften the blow...hope its the former.

    glah
