Fair enough, but EM and AMT are effectively measuring the same physical property - conductivity. Both techniques will suffer from the same "false" anomalies, AMT probably more so as it can detect some pretty low contrasts between sources. Hence the anomalies as "blobs" rather than a discrete EM plate.
