I would have thought that the drilling and establishment of a "proven" JORC resource and the resultant subsequent PFS would be the immediate priorities (which could take 3-5 years). Normally, at the same time that this work is being carried out, a mining application would be made (and granted).
Whilst there is no doubt that it is good news that GAL already has a granted mining lease, I just don't see how this will take years off the project timeline.
