depends on $ size of issue compared to number of shareholders , whether rights or SPP, whether over subscriptions are likely to be accepted...as in size of offer made bigger due to a big response.
I think it's risky selling all you hold, you may not get many or all in the SPP; but a partial sell may work more often than not...if you only hold say $5g worth, and its a SPP, you are likely to be able to replace your holding, but you may have to apply for more.
