Presently, EVR should be freely tradable but there is no price quoted for EVR on CommSec or Yahoo, and no explanation given in any of the news releases (unless I overlooked it). Solution: the new ticker for EVR "on a deferred settlement basis" (whatever that means) is EVRDA.
CommSec does not show this ticker name change in the Holdings.
It seems that I am not the only one left in the fog. Few people seem to have found EVRDA because there are only a very few bids and asks on screen (and the closest Buy is 231 shares vs Sell 232 shares, clearly a robot on the job). Also, in trading last Friday on the Canadian TSX, Endeavour jumped almost 10% -- not reflected in Australian trading yet.
Apart from all that: I believe gold miners have just turned into a significant upswing phase. Endeavour shares should, at the very least, reflect this while they are still trading freely on the ASX.
