Did anyone go back and read the June 06 2013 announcement? This sounds like a renegotiation/formalisation of that contract?
From 2013:
In any event we aren't talking about a new customer here and based on the previously stated revenue I would say its just reformalising/recommitting to what has already been stated.
Contracted Capacity Vs Actual Utilisation.
From my understanding Organisations will often contract for higher capacity than required for at the time to guarantee room for expansion/buffer.
I don't know that they necessarily pay full freight on their contracted capacity or only their actual utilisation.
Are NextDC building out for Contracted Utilisation or Actual Utilisation?
Actual utilisation is what interests me more. Sometimes the excess Contracted Capacity is just on a use it(or pay for it and don't use it) or lose it arrangement.
