The current price is ridiculously oversold and there's elements (some of whom post here regularly) that are trying to keep it there. I've posted a number of times that the "concerns" (aka concern trolling) that is going on about lack of buyers is laughable.
Just speculating, it seems QIN has over-relied on some Chinese advisor for sales, quaffing the Kool-Aid theory that China is the Alpha and Omega of purchases. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have good contacts in both Japan and India who have responded with alacrity at the thought of being able to purchase this sandalwood. Why has no approach by QIN to these markets been made? I've even been toying with the idea of contacting QIN direct and feeling out an offer to help them secure buyers. But really! That's not my job!
QIN could easily hire a dozen eager South Asian sales agents on commission-only and secure a bushel of orders in no time at all. How far has QIN investigated the Sri Lanka market, for example? Probably not at all. They're Buddhist, you know. When I was in Japan, a few grams of sandalwood incense cost me $20. China is a (gotta be careful here) "volatile" market in which to operate. You'll get scammed 5 ways to Sunday if you don't have the proper people.
