There has been a lot of discussion about Building the LOM and the above announcement points out that a lack of readily available ore was part of the downfall of previous operators. Clearly BLK's PFS and DFS drill programs have been highly effective in building the LOM.
They now would appear to have 6-7 yrs of ore + with plenty of scope to expand that further
Orion clearly thinks they have the issue in hand. For mine anything over 5 yrs is enough to demonstrate longevity.
Going forward I am now more interested in head grade and AISC reductions.
