Lower production because they are now moving the earth themselves (instead of using a third party company to do that) . So less 'mined' due to ramp-up of 'new' operations. But they also stated that doing it themselves is cheaper.
They also mention that most of the low grade ore on top has already been stripped, now giving access to the higher grade ore. So those high (and necessary) stripping costs are behind them now.
I am a BLK shareholder and this is my interpretation of the company's recent report.
I possibly will buy more as I already have a lot of skin in this company and buying more at this price would help lower my average share purchase price.
