Yeah - and they'll be paying a takeover premium of 30% or more most likely, and most investors ATM are Aussies - buying USD assets with a low AUD. And there appears to be no advantage held by MAD looking at the SP - why doesn't somebody buy MAD instead, and weld it on? MAD has no takeover currency at all as well - they need the market perception of being great managers - and look at the SP - they haven't got it.
I suspect this will be a great adventure, and if it doesn't pay off, and we didn't bottom pick well etc etc - so be it. That will be the attitude IMO.
Good luck - I'll admit I need to do some more research - so maybe some of what I am thinking will turn out to be wrong?
