re: Ann: Max Trust Market Update - Return of ... Congratulations htran. It has been great. It doesn't look like there is much more in it. Maybe 2 to 3 cents. But I am prepared to wait for the final cheque , especially considering that 25 cent will be in my account in about 4 weeks. I first brought at 2cents but have an average entry of about 8cents on 1.8million over 3 holdings. I haven't sold any , apart from a bit of trading early on.
Got very nervous some time in 2010 when we had the second gfc wave on the market and mxq fell from a then hi of about 9c back to 4c. Am very glad I held on.
Have been following GJT but haven't yet put any money in. I like Mxq because it was never about the share price , but always about the final realisation of loans. Don't quite understand the long term prospects of GJT. I see the NTA , but question how real the tangible is .Happy to hear your thoughts . AEJ is my other big interest and AYT but now longer listed ( but paying capital returns)
